It's been quite sometimes Nokia renew their smartphone line-up, but today, Microsoft exec has confirmed new Nokia phones incoming. We'll be seeing several phone launches for this year by HMD Global, says CEO of Microsoft Asia-Pacific.
According to James Rutherfoord, CEO of mobile device commodities of Microsoft Asia – Pacific, HMD Global. At least two new Nokia phones will come out by end of the year and in early Q2 of next year according to the Vietnamese publication. The distinction suggests that the new phones this year will be their flagship smartphones.
FIH Mobile, that took over Microsoft local feature phone factory in Bac Ninh, Vietnam. Between HMD, FIH and Nokia, FIH has acquired Nokia production facilities, global sales and distribution network from Microsoft. So, two upcoming new Nokia phones expected to be launched later this year. There is still no news regarding to Malaysia release date and pricing details, so stay tuned to TechNave for upcoming news.
