From our previous OnePlus news, we wrote that the company have removed the Photochrom feature which allowed OnePlus 8 Pro users to "see-through" thin plastics and clothing. This time around, they came up with another update but it's for the new OnePlus Launcher

Dubbed as the OnePlus Launcher 4.4.2, this new update has two features that will allow users to make use of the navigation and app search more convenient to use. Starting with the navigation, the app icons were previously located on top of the app cards beside the app name and the three-dot function. So now with the new update, you can see them at the bottom of the display instead.

The small app icons now appear below giving you an easier look on which app you are on

You can also now press hold an app and access to Lock/Unlock, App Info, Split Screen, and Freeform

A faster quick search user interface

As for doing a quick search, you can now press hold on the display and swipe up for the function. From there, you can type in a certain app you're looking on the search bar which OnePlus thinks that this is a much easier method. There are even quick suggested keywords for you to tap for an even faster app search experience.

The new OnePlus Launcher 4.4.2 is now available to download on the Google Play Store. OnePlus also welcomes any feedback on their forums too so you're always welcome to do so. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
