As previously announced, the subscription fees for the Sony PlayStation Plus plans have been increased and take immediate effect from today onwards. The yearly fee is RM235 for the Malaysian market and it was only yesterday that the monthly and quarterly fees were added.

At the moment, Sony only revealed the monthly and quarterly fees in Malaysian Ringgit and Thai Baht, so we have no idea about the Singapore Dollar and Indonesian Rupee. That said, the increased fees for PS Plus Essential, Extra and Deluxe in Malaysia are RM32, RM49 and RM55 per month respectively.

For a comparison with the before and after of all the current PS Plus plans, you may refer to the table below:

According to Sony, the 12-month subscription will remain at a discounted rate as usual compared to the 1-month or 3-month subscription plans. Current subscribers won't get the effect immediately until their next renewal date on or after 6 November 2023. In other words, only new subscribers or membership changes on or after 6 September will have their prices updated.
