As per tradition, Acer would announce a new lineup of next-gen laptops and this includes the Predator gaming series. There is a new Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition, the returning Predator Triton 300 but as an SE version, as well as gaming monitors. Read on below to find out more.

The Predator Helios 300 SpatialLabs Edition (PH315-55s) is the top of the cream because it specialises in stereoscopic 3D gaming. The SpatialLabs Edition features a 15.6-inch UHD 2D panel with a liquid crystal lenticular lens and there's a mode that can switch back between 2D and stereoscopic 3D views. A dual-fan layout that includes one 5th Gen AeroBlade 3D fan helps to keep the system running cool.

To utilise an eye-tracking solution, a stereoscopic 3D display and real-time rendering technologies, it sports up to 12th Gen Intel Core i9 processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPUs, 32GB DDR5-4800 memory and PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSDs RAID 0 storage. Moreover, it also comes with a Killer DoubleShot Pro and Wi-Fi 6E (E2600+1675i) connectivity, an HDMI 2.1 port, a Thunderbolt 4 port, and two USB 3.2 Gen2 ports.

If you prefer something thinner, the Predator Triton 300 SE (PT314-52s) has been refreshed with the 12th Gen Intel Core processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series Laptop GPUs and 16:10 OLED panel options. There is a 16-inch model (PT316-51s) too that has been added with up to 240 Hz WQXGA panels and supports NVIDIA G-SYNC® and NVIDIA Advanced Optimus. Albeit using similar specs as the SpatialLabs Edition, the 14- and 16-inch models feature an Intel Killer Wi-Fi 6E AX1675i and Intel Killer E2600 Ethernet controller respectively.

Starting with the former, it has a 27-inch UHD AMD FreeSync Premium display with a 160 Hz refresh rate, a 0.5 ms response time (G to G), a Delta E < 1 and is VESA DisplayHDR 600 and TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe-certified. Meanwhile, the latter sports a 27-inch WQHD 170Hz (overclocked) display, alongside the same features and 95% DCI-P3 colour gamut with Delta E < 1.
