Shortly after NVIDIA announced the new GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs, ASUS didn't wait long to announce the new ROG Strix and TUF Gaming graphics cards in line with that. Soon to be available, you will be able to get your hands on the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 40 and TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs.

We have already talked about the features of the RTX 40 Series GPUs, so you can head over here to read about them. For the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs, you can get your hands on the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090,  ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4080 16GB and ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4080 12GB. Meanwhile, TUF Gaming also follows the same name scheme - TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4090, TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4080 16GB and the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4080 12GB.

With the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090, ASUS wanted to go further than a large heatsink and vented backplate so they installed a new vapour chamber and 30% more surface area for heat dissipation compared with the predecessor. Moreover, the Axial-tech fans also got upgraded with a thicker design with seven blades providing 3.8% more airflow and 19.3% more pressure.

On the other hand, the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 is slightly thicker than its ROG sibling at 3.65 slots and a bit shorter at 348 mm for wider case compatibility. There is a massive vent at the edge of the backplate that allows even more air to flow through the fins from the larger Axial-tech fans, providing 20% more airflow than the last generation. It also uses the PCIe 5.0 standard’s new 16-pin power connector.

ASUS still hasn't announced the price and availability yet for the global market, including Malaysia. We are expecting it to appear from 12 October and November 2022, the same as NVIDIA's schedule. For the Malaysian market, we think we would get it at a later date due as that's how it has always been. Until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
