New ROG Zephyrus S GX701 laptop & two other gaming desktops with RTX2080 graphics cards launched from RM2699

If you’re looking to upgrade your gaming rig, turn your eyes to ASUS Malaysia’s latest releases, the ROG Zephyrus S GX701, the ROG Strix GL10CS and the ROG Strix GL12CX with prices starting from from RM2699 and equipped with the latest RTX graphics cards. You’ll be able to purchase these really cool gaming devices from authorized ASUS dealers starting from today.

Kicking off the launch was this monster of a gaming laptop, the ROG Zephyrus S GX701. The device features some pretty incredible tech specs which include (up to) the Nvidia RTX2080 Max-Q graphics card, an Intel Core i7-8750H processor and a 17.3 inch FHD IPS display which comes with 144Hz refresh rate. Weighing at only 2.7kg, this device also comes with 8GB of onboard memory and a M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 1TB SSD.

The device only measures at 18.7mm in thickness, fitting the 17.3 inch display into a 15.7 inch wide body. This device costs a whopping RM13999

If you love RGBae like me, you’ll be delighted to know that this laptop’s keyboard comes with a per-key RGB mapping. The design of the laptop definitely screams RGB with its LED lit ROG logo on the back resting upon brushed metal. Like the previous Zephyrus S model, the keyboard is pushed forward to accommodate the graphics card. However, the drawback (if you would call it that) is that the touchpad is placed to the left of the keyboard instead of front and center

 In addition this device has a variety of ports which include a USB-C port 3.0, x3 USB-A, a HDMI port, a 3.5mm headphone and mic jack combo and a kensington lock. Yup, there are a total of 4 vents altogether

Besides that, ASUS also launched two brand new gaming desktops which are absolutely gorgeous and perfect for RGBae lovers. The first one is this beast of a gaming desktop, the ROG Strix GL12CX. It comes with the latest Intel Core i9-9900K processor, the RTX2080 8GD6 graphics card, 32GB RAM, M.2 PCIe 256 / 512GB SSD, a 1TB/2TB HDD. To ensure you have enough power, this tower comes with a 700W PSU. The price for this desktop starts from RM9999. 

Another gaming desktop is for those who aren’t looking for anything too high powered which is the ROG Strix GL10CS. This device comes equipped with the GTX1050/1060 graphics card, up to 32GB of RAM, a choice between in the Intel Core i7 or i5 processors, a M.2 PCIe 128GB SSD and 1TB HDD. For connectivity, the tower comes with 6x Type-A ports, a HDMI port, a headphone out/ mic in jack, a 3-in-1 audio jack and a RJ45.
