It seems that a user on weibo has leaked a bunch of images originating from the TENAA, which might be either the Redmi 9 or the Redmi Note 9 smartphone. Based on the images, it seems that the alleged smartphone could come with features such as a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, Dual SIM as well as a 3.5mm audio jack slot.
As far as we know, the Redmi smartphone is expected to come equipped with a 6.53-inch HD+ display, 5000mAh internal battery, quad-camera setup in the rear with a 48MP main sensor, as well as a MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. Other than that, there’s not much we know in regards to the full tech spec of the aforementioned smartphone.
Do take every bit of information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Xiaomi has yet to provide an official statement in regards to the images mentioned. Not only that, but there’s no news on the Malaysia release date and local pricing of the device as of now.
