New Samsung Galaxy S9 & S9+ protective casings confirms a single and dual rear camera setup respectively

As some of you already know, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ will soon be unveiled at the end of February and many fans are quite excited about it. We have been reading some rumoured news here and there and with this latest leak, I think we can confirm that the Galaxy S9 and S9+ will have a single and dual rear camera respectively, thanks to the protection casing found online.

From the images, we can see there are four types of protection casing - Alcantara cover, Silicone cover, Hyperknit cover and Protective Standing cover. The Hyperknit and Protective Standing Cover are the new ones, especially the former which is made out of woven texture and it looks like that it's made for the outdoors. Meanwhile, the latter is the toughest one among the four, with the caption "ultimate device protection" and it's military grade protection, ensuring safety when you drop your phone.

Anyway, check out below is a list of the official casing for the Galaxy S9 and S9+:

  • Alcantara Cover EF-XG960A / EF-XG965A – black, blue, mint, red;
  • Clear View Cover EF-ZG960C / EF-ZG965C – blue, gold, purple;
  • LED Flip Wallet EF-NG960P / EF-NG965P – purple;
  • Hyperknit Cover EF-GG960F / EF-GG965F – red, gray;
  • Protective Standing Cover EF-RG960C / EF-RG965C – black, silver;
  • Silicon Cover EF-PG960T / EF-PG965T – blue, gray, pink.

Besides that, we know that the Galaxy S9 series will be using a dual rear camera for some time now, but speculation suggests that only the S9+ will have it which is proven further, thanks to this leaked protective casing pictures. The dual rear camera setup is position vertically in the middle and it's also good to know that the fingerprint sensor is no longer put at the side anymore.
