Samsung revealed their new Samsung QLED 8K TVs and Lifestyle TVs consisting of The Sero, The Serif and The Frame today in a Live Webinar. It highlighted new AI and machine learning tech that promise better images, clearer resolutions and more Samsung HDTVs that blend into the background, many of which are going to come to Malaysia soon.

For 8K TVs Samsung focused mainly on their Q95TS model which offers a 99% screen to body ratio with no bezel which they have termed The Infinity Screen. Featuring a Samsung Quantum Processor + Tizen, the AI 8K Upscaling turns lower resolution media into 8K with better clarity. There’s also new sound tech like OTS+ which moves 2 speakers on the top and the tweeters to the left for more accurate 3D surround sound, again auto adjusted in real-time. Gamers can expect a lower input lag of around 9.1ms

Other features include a new Digital Butler which automatically connects to other smart devices (including your humidifier!) and Q Symphony where the QLED 8K TV will work together with a soundbar rather than become disabled when a soundbar is connected. New MultiView will allow all phones to share screens with Samsung QLED 2020 TVs while all digital voice assistants will also be available (Alexa + Google Assistant + Bixby) with updates for older but compatible models coming in Q2.

The previous Samsung Lifestyle TVs consisting of The Sero (which can rotate to portrait mode like your phone for vertical content), The Serif and The Frame will also be getting upgraded versions and accessories. This includes a better no-gap mount, a new better priced Studio Stand and new addition to the Art Store along with more realistic Dual LED technology.
