New Samsung patent suggests that a foldable tablet could come in the future

Foldable phones have been around for a while and no longer feel like a novelty for many. But what if there's a foldable tablet? That could be what Samsung has in mind, as the company has been granted a patent for what seems to be a foldable tablet.

According to the patent, Samsung could be working on a large device that folds inwards. It has a foldable display of unknown size and fairly thin bezels on most sides. However, the centre is a bit thicker on the top and bottom, probably to make room for other components.

In fact, there's an image where you can spot a faint outline of the front camera. Interestingly, it doesn't seem to have a secondary display or rear camera like the Galaxy Z Fold 2. It also seems to have a USB-C port and two speakers. Besides that, there doesn't seem to be anything notable.

The images alone aren't enough for us to judge, but this device could be as big as a laptop when unfolded. What do you think? Share your thoughts in the comments section below, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
