Today, Sony Electronics has announced their new Dolby Atmos supported sound bars are now in Malaysia. Introducing the HT-Z9F and HT-X9000F, these two are priced RM2829.25 and RM2074.53 accordingly across all Sony centres and authorized dealers. Designed for the comfort of your living room, these two are definitely made in mind not only for the audiophiles but for the minimalists as well.

The HT-Z9F has a Dolby-Atmos/DTS:X technology developed by Sony's engineers to bring a new level of a cinematic-audio environment in the comfort of your home. Called as the Vertical Surround Engine, it can provide a virtual 3D surround sound experience, all done without ceiling reflection or extra speakers. On the other hand, the HT-X9000F Soundbar also features the same Dolby Atmos/DTS:X and Vertical Surround Engine so it's more or less the same.

Both are compact and designed to complement a selection of Sony BRAVIA TV products for aesthetics, as the soundbars fit perfectly between the base of the aforementioned TV. The HT-X9000F, for example, has the edges chamfered off at an angle to slide in nicely against the Sony X9000F TV's leg stand. You can find out more about the HT-Z9F and HT-X9000F at their official webpage.

In an unrelated news, the World Photography Organization today has opened up its 12th edition of the Sony World Photography Awards. Photographers have until 30 November 2018 to enter the Student competition, 4 January 2019 for the Open and Youth competitions, and 11 January 2019 for Professional.
