New Sony GP-VPT2BT camera shooting grip aims to make vlogging a breeze

If you're looking to step up your vlogging game, Sony now has a new GP-VPT2BT shooting grip that will help you a lot. Sony designed it to provide Sony digital camera users with a means of wireless control, good grip, and stability for video recording.

The GP-VPT2BT has 170-degree tilt and 180-degree flip, both of which are useful for recording and vlogging. Besides that, it also has dust and moisture resistance, though it's not 100% resistant so you'd have to be careful still. In addition, there's a built-in tripod that you can use by expanding the bottom, great if you want to go hands-free while recording. It has a total of eight buttons, which includes the flip, angle adjustment, recording buttons and more.

Setting up the GP-VPT2BT seems easy enough, as you just need to connect it to your Sony digital camera via Bluetooth pairing. Once you have it set up, you get to operate your camera without worrying about cables. We'll get to see this product quite soon too since Sony has already confirmed that the GP-VPT2BT will be available in Malaysia in January 2020. However, local pricing has not been announced yet.

So, what are your thoughts of Sony's take on the shooting grip? Would you consider it, or are there third-party options which you prefer? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more updates on this.
