If you are a fan of the Xperia series, you might be familiar with the phones being audio and camera centric. The same can be said about the Sony Xperia 1 VI and Xperia 5 VI. These phones could feature a new digital signage tech. So, what should you know about it?

For your information, the phones could arrive in 2024. According to SumahoDigest, the phones could feature a digital signage tech. This will be a “world’s first” for the Sony Xperia 1 VI and Xperia 5 VI. As you could expect, the feature automatically signs the images and videos you capture digitally.

In addition, rumour says this feature could help combat fakes. However, there are no confirmation or updates on how this tech will achieve it. Besides the 6th gen Xperia phones, this tech could be available for Sony’s latest camera too. That means the Sony A9 III and A7S III could get this feature via a software update.

We have yet to confirm other details or the Malaysia release date for the devices. If you are interested, you might want to keep an eye out for this one. Who knows? It might come sooner than you think.
