During the Apple Event, it was revealed that the iPhone 15 series is indeed the first in the lineup to have a USB-C port and charging cable. As such, we can expect some new cable accessories by Apple with a hefty price tag and here's what we can find.

If you visit the Apple Malaysia website, you will notice a couple of new USB-C charge cables. The first one to pop up is the 2m 240W USB-C charge cable that costs RM159. Furthermore, it's a USB C to USB C end-to-end but at least you can still use it for your iPad and Macbook. It has a "cheaper" variant, sitting at RM99 for 60W with a 1m cable length.

Previously, there were rumours of Apple launching braided charge cables with a different colour to match the iPhone 15 series but that turned out to be false. However, there is a new black braided Thunderbolt 4 USB C Pro Cable for RM399. On top of that, there's also a new USB C to Lightning Adapter (lol) for RM159.

At the moment, we aren't too sure if the iPhone 15 series would reject normal USB C cables. Technically, they should be compatible but we wouldn't be surprised if the system says otherwise. After all, ROG did the same with its ROG Ally too, demanding to use its own charging adapter instead of another third-party USB C charger.
