New entry-level Nokia smartphone could be coming soon

With how flooded the smartphone market is these days, famous brands have found themselves struggling to compete. Nokia hasn't been all that active after the big announcements for MWC, but a few new models are expected to launch in the coming months. One of them should be a new lower mid-range model, which was recently spotted on TENAA.

Bearing the model number TA-1258, the tech specs for this device were listed down by Nokiamob before they were taken down on TENAA. The chipset for this device is unknown, but it's mentioned that it bears an octa-core CPU running at a minimum of 1.6GHz. This Android 10 phone also has 3GB of RAM, up to 64GB of internal storage, a 3040mAh battery, and a 5.99-inch 720p display.

The rumoured device could be a successor to the Nokia 4.2

Currently, it's speculated that this could be a device for the Nokia 2, Nokia 3 or Nokia 4 series. Some of the rumoured tech specs are comparable to the Nokia 2.3 from last year. However, the Nokia 2.3 has a bigger battery and display, so it's unlikely that it's from the same series. It seems to line up most with the Nokia 4.2, which has slightly poorer specs, but that model has two rear cameras instead of one. At this point, we can't confirm which series this device would belong to.

There's also the possibility that the tech specs are wrong since they were taken down, so do keep that in mind. With that said, would you be interested in an affordable low mid-ranger like this rumoured Nokia device? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more updates.
