Sony is one of the best when it comes to earphones and headphones. And if you ask us, the company's WH-1000XM and WF-1000XM wireless series are the most popular. Of course, Sony does have less premium options, including an upcoming one known as the Sony WF-C700.

Recently, images of the Sony WF-C700 were leaked on Twitter. This model is most likely the mid-range counterpart of the WF-1000XM4. It features a noticeably smaller body and charging case. Moreover, each earbud has what seems to be an external speaker that are probably for noise cancellation. It was also revealed that the WF-C700 would be available in black, white, green, and blue colours.

Under its shell, the WF-C700 packs small 5mm drivers that deliver a standard audio frequency range of 20-20000Hz. It doesn't offer Hi-Res Audio support, but does feature Sony's Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE), ambient sound mode, ANC, and 360 Reality Audio. The earbuds also rely on Bluetooth 5.2 for connectivity, so we can expect lower latency.

Allegedly, the Sony WF-C700 will retail in Europe for 120 Euros (~RM576), which is nearly half the price of the WF-1000XM4 (RM1099). Will it be a better option for the budget conscious? We'll have to wait and see! But until then stay tuned to TechNave for more updates about it.
