For a couple of days, we have been seeing Huawei teasing some tech features online for the upcoming 2 June event. We know a smartwatch is coming, so as a new stylus pen that signals a MatePad but a fan may have just leaked the entire gadget roster online. Here's what we know so far.
According to the leak, there will be a bunch of gadgets releasing and interestingly, the Mate 40 series is included even though it was released before. However, perhaps it's due to the fact that these phones could be released with the latest (and proper, probably) HarmonyOS 2.0 pre-installed. HarmonyOS 2.0 should be the main focus of the event thanks to the recent marketing.
Besides that, the P40 series is in there too but we are expecting the much long-awaited P50 series instead. So are the new foldable Mate X2, MatePad Pro tablet, and the nova 8 and nova 8 Pro (with HarmonyOS 2.0). For some reason, the smartwatch isn't on the list even though it was teased a few days ago.
HarmonyOS 2.0 does have a high number of users but the majority of them belong to the Chinese market. Unfortunately, the company is still banned from using Google Mobile Services so we hope to see some improvements on better user interface and usage for the global market. We are just two days away so until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
