If rumours are to be believed, the HUAWEI P60 series will launch this March, though we may not have to wait long to know its specs and features. According to an alleged leak, the Pro variant of the series is set to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC but its connectivity will be limited to LTE.
The leak comes from a Chinese tipster DTCHAT on Weibo who shared a poster of the P60 Pro with its alleged full specs. Moreover, the poster also showed the back design of the smartphone which highlights its rather unique camera setup, with the main sensor being bigger than the other two cameras.
DTCHAT claimed that the P60 Pro will sport a 50MP main + 50MP ultra-wide + 65MP telephoto triple-camera setup. The main camera uses a Sony IMX888 sensor, the ultra-wide is a Sony IMX858 and the telephoto is an OmniVision OV64B.
Besides that, the leak said that HUAWEI will put a 6.6-inch 120Hz OLED display with 1440 resolution. As for the battery, it’s a 5000mAh cell with support for 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
Other notable specs include IP68 dust and water resistance, HarmonyOS 3.0, LPDDR5X RAM, UFS4.0 storage and unfortunately, only up to 4G connectivity. Of course, do take this information with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed as of yet.
