Previously, we reported on an alleged leaked image of an actual Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 in the wild that showcased the foldable smartphone’s design. Now, an internal part of the device may have also been leaked, this time showcasing the foldable’s batteries' configuration which have been upgraded from its predecessor.

Shared by Sam Mobile, the image shows two slightly larger batteries which are alleged to be powering the upcoming Z Flip4. Both batteries are made by Samsung SDI, with the first battery being rated for 2555mAh and the second 1040mAh.

Hence when combined, both batteries offers a rated capacity of 3595mAh, or 3700mAh when marketed. The current Z Flip3 has a battery capacity rated at 3330mAh, thus this move, if proven to be true, is definitely welcomed.

Having a two-battery configuration on a smartphone is not something new, especially for foldables, partly due to the design of the device. However, a two-battery configuration is also pretty common nowadays on regular-designed smartphone as having two batteries makes a smartphone faster to charge compared to a device with one battery.

Speaking of which, the Galaxy Z Flip4 is also touted to get a charging speed between 15 to 25W. Well, do take this information with a grain of salt though as with any other alleged leaks, nothing is confirmed as of yet.
