Looking for a new game to play? Well, prepare to empty your wallets for the Steam Summer Sale is just around the corner. Leaks of the confirmed dates have appeared online, claiming that 2-week sale will run from 25 June to 9 July 2020.

According to Pavel Djundik, a developer for the SteamDB platform, Chinese sources have informed him that the Steam Summer Sale begins on 25 June 2020. This was later confirmed by Avi Thour (YouTube content creator), who posted a screenshot of the alleged dates. It's expected to start from 9:55 AM on 25 June 2020 to 10 AM on 9 July 2020 Pacific Time, which works to 12:55 AM on 26 June 2020 to 1 AM on 10 July 2020 Malaysia time.

In a subsequent post, Djundik also claimed that Steam is developing a loyalty programme. It will be a point-based system that will include rewards, redeemable badge levels, and maybe discounts for games. Valve could add reactions to user reviews as well.

The dates for the Summer Sale seem legit, but we're not too sure about the loyalty programme. If the latter is real, what would you like to see from it? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news.
