Today, Google is celebrating 10 years of Google Play. To celebrate the occasion, the company has listed down a few of its favourite milestones and offered 10x points of purchases in the store.
The 10x points reward is available on all Play purchases in all regions, as long as the points booster and program exist. However, Google mentioned that the starting dates vary in each location. The dates can be checked from the Play Points Home's "Earn" tab and in case you're wondering - the Malaysia region is not available for this promotion.
Besides that, Google Play also has a new logo that doesn't stray from its original design. In its blog, it also mentioned setting a goal to make its product and services complement each other better. One of the milestones was launching Google Play Games on PC in Hong Kong, South Korea and Taiwan, which allows mobile gamers to play their games on Android, tablets, Chromebook and Windows PC.
Looking at the number of milestones, it seems that Malaysia is not really part of Google's achievements but that's fine. The Google Play Store is serving more than 2.5 billion Android users in over 190 countries every month, as well as two million developers have worked with the company on providing apps and services.
