Map navigation in Instagram? How does that work? Well, without beating the bush too much, the company tweeted a simple tweet announcing finding popular locations around you. On top of that, you can also filter categories by yourself in the app within.
According to sources, you may find the location in the Explore tab or simply tap on the location tagged by your friends and family. After that, a map will pop out and you can see other nearby locations shared on the posts and Stories. As for filtering, you can set the options of specific places such as cafes, events and even hotels.

You may also save the place that you like for later or even send a direct message. Of course, you may share the location with your friends and family directly.
