As the Huawei Mate 9 event draws closer this week, Netherland-based website, Techtastic.nl received an official-looking press image of the device and decided to share it with everyone else online (thanks!), giving us a good look of how the device looks like.

As speculated, the display size is indeed 5.9-inches but no dual curved screen there, although to be fair it's said that only the premium version will have it instead of the standard flat screen model. It's also reported that the flat screen version reaches 1080p resolution, while the premium model will go up to QHD. As for the dual rear cameras, the pair comprised of 20MP and 12MP, no Leica brand was spotted on the device.

Other than that, the Mate 9 should come up with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box, powered by the new Kirin 960 chipset. Stay tuned for the official Mate 9 launch news at Technave.com.
