It was a tradition once for smartphone companies to launch the standard variants of a smartphone series and would only proceed to launch the Ultra variant later in the same year. Earlier, Xiaomi launched the Xiaomi 12S series without presenting the Xiaomi 12 Ultra has proven that it might not be a plan that the companies will always follow. OnePlus was also suspected of skipping the OnePlus 10 Ultra, but this new report gives us some hope.
A new patent for the device has appeared on CNIPA, which is China's equivalent to the FCC. Spotted by IT Home, the device looks like the OnePlus 10 Pro and the upcoming OnePlus 10T 5G. However, the source mentions that the phone is likely to be equipped with a periscope camera, judging by the rectangular cutout on the back. It is a feature of premium phones, and it's what the OnePlus 10 Pro doesn't have.

Furthermore, you can see the alert slider too. If you've been following the news, OnePlus would only include the slider for its future premium flagships, which means that the OnePlus 10T 5G might not be getting it. Therefore, another proof we have that the device is indeed the OnePlus 10 Ultra?
