If your group of friends is always undecided about where to eat or what movie to see, then this upcoming WhatsApp feature will definitely help in making a decision. Recently spotted in version 22.6.0.70 of its IOS beta, WhatsApp is currently working on a tool that would allow users to create polls in group chats!

As with other features previously tested in its beta version, this feature would most likely be included in future versions of WhatsApp. Furthermore, based on the latest iOS beta update, polls will only be available in group chats where the feature will allow users to ask a question and participants of the group can vote for one of its answers.

A screenshot of the beta feature was recently shared by wabetainfo in which a new 'Create Poll’ option can be seen within WhatsApp group chats. Upon clicking on the option, WhatsApp will prompt users to enter a question for the poll.

Furthermore, the polls would also be end-to-end encrypted, whereby only people in the group can see their polls and results. Besides that, not much details are known about the WhatsApp polls feature but its appearance in the latest iOS beta version pretty much confirmed WhatsApp's intentioin to introduce polls in the near future.
