New render reveals possible Lenovo ThinkPhone smartphone

The current Lenovo-branded phones are gaming devices

As some may know, Lenovo acquired Motorola's mobile business a few years ago and has released smartphones through that brand. But the company could be hoping to release more Lenovo-branded ones. At the least, sources believe a Lenovo ThinkPhone is possible.

New renders provided by Evan Blass (via 91Mobiles) show what seems to be a Lenovo smartphone (the image is pretty blurry). As you can see, there's a 'ThinkPhone' logo at the bottom-right corner of the device. This Lenovo ThinkPhone shares the code name 'Bronco' with another device, which is believed to be the Motorola Edge 40.

The render provided isn't too convincing because of the poor resolution...

In other words, the Lenovo branding could be a rebadge for selected markets. Regardless of what the device is called, we can at least confirm that it's a flagship device. According to the source, this alleged ThinkPhone could come with either the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It should also have 8GB or 12GB of RAM, triple rear 50MP+13MP+2MP cameras, and a 16MP selfie camera.

Honestly, it doesn't sound all that special for a flagship device, so perhaps it's just a rebranding effort. What do you think? Share your opinions in the comments below, and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates about it.
