New top case for iPad Magic Keyboard?

When it comes to innovations, Apple is a company that is infamous for never settling. As of now, the company could introduce a new change to one of their products. That said, what should you know about it?

A reliable source, Mark Gurman says that Apple is working on a new iPad Magic Keyboard for the iPad Pro tablets. Apparently, this rework was made to make the iPad Pro more “tablet-like”. Notably, the new device could feature a larger trackpad, almost similar to that of Macbooks.

In addition, Gurman also says the top case for the Magic Keyboard will be made of aluminium. In case you didn’t know, the keyboard accessory for the previous model was flimsier. It was also easier for it to bend and tear around the edges. Interestingly, the aluminium change only affects the top case area. That includes the keys and trackpad. The rest will be the same as older models.

Moreover, the new model would be slightly heavier than its predecessors. Thanks to the lightweight material, you won’t have any problems carrying it. However, new materials could mean new prices. We have yet to confirm other details on this matter but is safe to expect this device to be a bit pricier than the last.
