When realme launched its first tablet in September 2021, it was clear that the focus is on entry-level users. The device's performance may be modest, but it had a solid body and sleek design. Now, it seems that a new variant of the realme Pad is on the way.

Yesterday, the benchmark for a realme RMP2105 device was uploaded on Geekbench. As you can this, this device sports a Unisoc chipset with an 8-core CPU. Specifically, the CPU has 2x CPU cores at 1.95GHz and 6x CPU cores at 1.82GHz. A little digging on the Unisoc website reveals that its CPU specs closely match the Unisoc T616.

For reference, the realme Pad has a similar model number (RMP2102). As such, this is likely a variant of the realme Pad. Besides the chipset, this model will have the same 3GB of RAM and probably 32GB of storage. The front and rear should also retain the 8MP cameras. In other words, this variant could be identical to the standard realme Pad sans the chipset.

realme may have done this because of the global supply chain issue. After all, Unisoc is based in China. But what do you think, is realme already working on more powerful tablets? Let us know what you think in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
