New vivo device powered by Snapdragon 865 confirmed

It was just last week when benchmarks of a vivo smartphone was found on GeekBench, showing a device that sports the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset. Now, it's been confirmed that vivo will also have a phone powered by a Snapdragon 865 chipset, and it could come with the same curved 'waterfall' screen as the vivo NEX 3.

According to Toutiao, the vivo device with a model name of V1950A has successfully passed China's 3C certification process. Supposedly, this device's display will not have any notches or holes. This could mean that the front camera is either an under-screen camera, or vivo is opting for it to pop-up from the top like the one for the vivo NEX 3. The Toutiao article also claims that the device will come with a 44W fast-charger and a 90% screen-to-body ratio.

The prospects of an under-screen camera is perhaps the most interesting bit of this news but there's no confirmation on this yet.
