Based on a statement by a user on weibo, it seems that next year’s upcoming Redmi smartphone could come equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset. While not much is known in regards to the exact nature of the smartphone, it does give us a better idea on what to expect when it is officially available in the global market.
But that’s not all, there seems to be a hands-on picture of the smartphone showing that it will come equipped with a single front-facing selfie camera at the front while the back comes with a quad-camera setup. With all that said, do take some of the information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Xiaomi has yet to provide an official statement on the leak.
Not only that, but there’s also no news on the Malaysia release date, local pricing, and exact tech specs of the smartphone in question for now.
