Ninja Van Malaysia bets on "Reliability" with expanded cold chain and B2B logistics

Today, Ninja Van Malaysia announces it is expanding its logistics capabilities beyond last-mile delivery as local businesses increasingly prioritise reliability and integrated logistics solutions. The company is broadening its services to support both business-to-consumer and business-to-business needs, with new and expanded offerings that include cold chain logistics, freight solutions, and an enhanced Ninja B2B Restock service.

Reliability Emerges as the New Competitive Edge

According to Ninja Van, the shift reflects broader changes within Malaysia’s logistics and transport sector, which is currently valued at about RM117.36 billion and projected to grow to roughly RM153.78 billion by 2030. Growth is being driven by a more mature e-commerce landscape, the rise of mid-sized shippers, and businesses expanding beyond third-party marketplaces into their own sales channels.

As supply chains become more complex, businesses are placing greater emphasis on predictability, lower parcel damage rates, and consistent service quality, reinforcing the idea that reliability now matters more than raw delivery speed.

2025 Focused on Building New Capabilities

Throughout 2025, Ninja Van Malaysia strengthened its core last-mile delivery network while investing heavily in new logistics capabilities to meet evolving market demands. This included scaling Ninja Cold and expanding cross-border routes, alongside a deeper push into B2B logistics to address inefficiencies in what has traditionally been a manual and fragmented segment. The company says this approach was aimed at delivering more integrated, end-to-end logistics solutions for modern businesses.

Growth Across Last-Mile, Cold Chain, and B2B Logistics

These investments translated into measurable growth during the year. Ninja Van Malaysia reached more than 20 million parcel recipients nationwide through its last-mile network. Ninja Cold, which launched in February 2025, onboarded over 1000 businesses and now handles around 100000 cold parcels per month with full coverage across Peninsular Malaysia.

Meanwhile, Ninja B2B Restock recorded year-on-year growth, supporting faster replenishment cycles for over 250 businesses, while its less-than-truckload services moved up to 3000 pallets, primarily serving B2B shippers. These services are anchored by full-truckload movements and complemented by less-than-truckload options for smaller or partial shipments.

Scaling for the Next Phase of Logistics Growth

Looking ahead to 2026, Ninja Van Malaysia plans to scale the capabilities that have already gained market validation while expanding geographic reach and service coverage. Last-mile delivery will remain the foundation of its operations, supported by continued investments in network density and route optimisation to enable more integrated supply chains. Ninja Cold is set to expand its B2C cold e-commerce offerings as demand grows for reliable delivery of fresh, frozen, and ready-to-eat products.

Advancing B2B and Freight Services in 2026

For mid-sized shippers, the company aims to further develop its B2B services by introducing direct intercity less-than-truckload routes and expanding full-truckload offerings in the second half of 2026. These moves are intended to modernise freight movement in a segment long dominated by rigid transport models. At the same time, Ninja B2B Restock will extend deeper into industrial and manufacturing sectors, positioning faster restocking as a growing competitive advantage for businesses.

Company Sees Integrated Logistics as the Way Forward

According to Lin Zheng, Chief Executive Officer of Ninja Van Malaysia, the logistics ecosystem in the country has reached a point where speed alone is no longer sufficient. Businesses are increasingly seeking logistics partners that can seamlessly connect B2C and B2B flows while delivering predictable and dependable service.
