There's been a lot of news coming from Nintendo lately and one of it touches on the Switch Online. The company's paid subscription service currently allows players to enjoy things like online multiplayer, cloud saves, and access to old NES games online. But if that's not enough to convince you to shell out USD 3.99 (~RM16) monthly, rest assured that more is to come.

In the company's latest financial briefing, Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa promised to incentivise users to subscribe to the service by bringing "more features and more fun to Nintendo Switch". With over 52 million Nintendo Switch consoles sold since 2017 and 15 million users who are subscribing to Switch Online, Nintendo has every intention to keep them happy.

What these features and fun could be were not detailed. But since it pertains to the Switch console itself, it's possible that Nintendo may allow Switch Online subscribers to play games from other previous Nintendo platforms, such as games from the Nintendo Wii. This would give Nintendo fans access to older games they might otherwise not be able to play.

Of course, that's just our speculation and as mentioned there is no official statement in regards to this yet. To the Switch Online subscribers out there, what features would you actually want to see added to the platform?
