Nintendo has officially confirmed that the Nintendo Switch 2 will be available in Malaysia between July and September 2025. Based on international pricing, the console is expected to start at approximately RM2000.

The standard model is priced at USD449.99 overseas, with regional bundle versions estimated to cost slightly more.

It won't be budget-friendly tho

Following its global announcement on 5 June 2025 and regional launches in Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines on 26 June, Malaysia is next in line.

Although the exact local launch date has not been disclosed, retailers have already started listing pre-orders for the console at estimated prices between RM2199 and RM2399, depending on the bundle.

Many Malaysian gamers have expressed excitement, though some are cautious about the total cost. Besides the base unit, early listings suggest individual games may cost around RM350 to RM400, with additional expenses for online subscriptions and accessories.
