Nintendo launches first eShop sale In Malaysia with discounts across Switch and Switch 2 games

After a few months, the Nintendo eShop is finally having its first major digital sale in Malaysia. While the sales are only for select titles, it offers Malaysian Switch and Switch 2 gamers access to discounted games ranging from family party titles to RPGs and blockbuster releases. It has already begun on 27 May and runs until 9 June 2026, although some titles may have different ending dates depending on the promotion.

 

Big Nintendo Exclusives Are Getting Discounts Too

Among the biggest first-party highlights is Super Mario Party Jamboree, which is receiving discounts for both standard Switch players and Nintendo Switch 2 users. The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition plus Jamboree TV drops from RM289 to RM220.30, while the standard version falls from RM229 to RM160.30. Meanwhile, Princess Peach: Showtime! also receives a 30% discount, reducing its price from RM229 to RM160.30.

Major Third-Party Games Join The Sale

Outside Nintendo exclusives, several major third-party titles are also receiving sizable discounts. DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO receives one of the largest reductions with a 40% discount, bringing the price down from RM249 to RM149 across both Switch platforms.

Many of these titles are receiving their first eShop discounts since launch, including other enhanced versions of multiplayer games, racing titles and RPGs. Players can also pick up titles such as Resident Evil Requiem, DRAGON QUEST VII Reimagined, Little Nightmares III and MARVEL Cosmic Invasion at discounted prices during the campaign. 

Titles such as Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, Hollow Knight: Silksong and OCTOPATH TRAVELER 0 all feature dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 versions within the promotion. In addition, Human: Fall Flat drops by 70% during the sale, while games such as Mega Man 11 and Onimusha 2: Samurai's Destiny receive discounts of up to 67% and 50%, respectively.
