This is definitely something that you want to look out when they launch at the end of the year. Nintendo just announced that they are launching a new line of home console, branded as the Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System.

The new console is a replica of the original Nintendo Entertainment System, or NES for short. The big difference is that the console does not accept any game cartridges – rather the games are installed in the console itself.

Out of the box, you will get a HDMI cable for high resolution displays, a USB power cable (but without the power adapter) and one Nintendo Classic Mini: NES controller. Along those items, you get 30 pre-installed games in the box for you to play. The games are:

The Nintendo Classic Mini: NES Controller can also be used to play Virtual Console NES games on a Wii U or Wii console. Just connect it to a Wii Remote controller and all of your information and savepoints will transfer over when you need them later.

It will be available by November for USD 59.99(~RM 236). We may see some enterprising people or shops bring in the console into Malaysia market, but we have to wait until the end of the year to see it happen.
