Nitro Deck offers superior controls and grip for Nintendo Switch consoles

If you're not a fan of the Nintendo Switch's Joy-Con controllers, you probably use the Pro Controller. But sometimes, you just don't want to carry an extra controller around. What if there's another alternative to Joy-Cons? Well, say hi to the new Nitro Deck.

The Nitro Deck is a "professional handheld deck" for the standard Nintendo Switch and OLED Switch model. By docking your Switch console to the Nitro deck, you'll get a 2-in-1 controller and grip combo expected to perform better than the standard Joy-Con plus console setup. You'll end up with a thicker and bulkier body. But it should still be more convenient than carrying an extra controller.

Of course, the Nitro Deck's built-in has to be good to justify any purchase. According to CRKD, the controller uses Hall effect thumbsticks for zero stick drift. The Nitro Deck also has remappable back buttons, a direct USB-C connection for ultra-low latency between the console and controller, and swappable pads for the thumbsticks.

Currently, the Nitro Deck is only available in the US and Canada for USD 60 (~RM277). We probably won't get it here, but there are alternatives like the Split Pad series by Hori (no Hall Effect thumbsticks). So, do you have an accessory like this or plan to get one?
