According to a rumour last week, we reported that the OPPO Find 9 may actually get a new Snapdragon 835 chipset by Qualcomm. Exciting it may be, it's now safe to say that it won't be happening anymore, thanks to a Qualcomm employee in his Weibo account.
Under the name @Anunnaki on Weibo, he said the news regarding the Find 9 adopting the latest Snapdragon 835 chipset is false. There's little reason to doubt him since he works in Qualcomm and from time to time he leaks some information about his company's processors.
Besides that, he also hinted that the Find 9 might not even be a follow-up post on the micro-blogging platform, which hinted √9 = 3 and started this rumour. What he suggested, though, is that it could mean the Find 9 has been replaced by the OnePlus 3(T).
Oh well, no Find 9 for March 2017, but perhaps at a later date. Stay tuned for more news at Technave.com.
