It seems the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE isn't the only device that might be cancelled. While Apple did launch the iPhone 13 mini despite rumours of cancellation, the iPhone 14 mini might be dropped. Sources claim that it will be replaced by something else.
According to Jon Prosser, Apple will allegedly be dropping the mini variant for the iPhone 14 series next year and will replace it with an iPhone 14 Max. This is a non-Pro variant of the iPhone 14, which will come with a large 6.7-inch display. It's essentially going to be a larger version of the standard iPhone 14.
It's not an unlikely scenario too, as the iPhone 12 mini wasn't all that popular last year. On the other hand, the larger iPhone 12 Pro Max was rather popular. If that pattern repeats this year, it would mean that the demand for larger iPhones is higher than smaller ones. In that case, cancelling the iPhone 14 mini for a larger vanilla iPhone 14 isn't out of the question.
Of course, it's just a rumour so take it with a grain of salt. I'm a fan of smaller smartphones but it's clear that more people love larger ones. Which gang do you belong to? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
