Touch n Go eWallet has now updated its app. The app has expanded on the QR code scanner support. So, what should you know about it?
No more third party QR scanning app
For your information, the new update has enabled Touch n Go eWallet to upgrade its QR code scanner support, and it is no longer limited to QR codes focused on payments only.
Instead, you can scan any other QR code, including web links, registration forms, and etc. Thanks to this move, you will no longer need an additional QR code scanner on your smartphone.
Moreover, some smartphones do not support QR code scanning on the camera app. That means you have to install a dedicated app for it. Since Touch n Go eWallet now integrates it, you no longer need to install another QR code scanner app.
Alan Ni, Chief Executive Officer of TNG Digital, said:
