As the COVID-19 cases continue to hike, our government has announced the latest MCO 3.0 (Movement Control Order) for six districts in Selangor including Hulu Langat, Petaling, Gombak, Klang, Kuala Langat, and Sepang. Starting from 6 May to 17 May 2021, the people from these districts are not allowed to travel interstate and inter-district. However, for those who are to attend vaccine appointments, exceptions will be made.
According to the latest tweet by our Minister of Science, Technology, and Innovation Khairy Jamaluddin, people who are required to cross districts for vaccine appointments will not need a letter from the police. Instead, they can just show proof of their appointments on the MySejahtera app, website or SMS at the district boundaries.
For MCO districts, you WILL be allowed to cross district lines for your vaccination appointment. Just show proof of your appointment on MySj, website or sms at district boundaries. You will not require a letter from the police.
