2017 is the year that Nokia will be releasing their smartphones to the world – but in the mean time the brand will continue their reign in the feature phone segment with this new device. The Nokia 150 is a no frills feature phone that has a low entry price of only USD 26 (~RM 120).

It is a reliable work horse, with a 2.4-inch color screen, physical T9 keypad, Bluetooth, MP3 player, FM tuner and surprise, a microSD slot for storage. It has a VGA camera at the back (what?) and continuing with Nokia’s tradition – an LED that can be used as a flashlight.

What makes feature phones superior to smartphones when compared to smartphones is their standby battery time – and the Nokia 150 doesn’s dissapoint. It has a 22 hour talk time, 31 days standby time for the single SIM variant and a 25 day standby for the dual SIM verson. Yes, one month on a single charge.

The phone is expected to be available soon (Q1 2017) in Asia, Europe and Africa for a measly price of USD 26 (or about RM 120). This could be the best standby phone one could buy – so will you get one for yourself? Stay tuned to TechNave for more Nokia news.
