Nokia 3.1 Plus with 3500mAh battery will be available in Malaysia for RM699

Today, HMD Global has announced that the Nokia 3.1 Plus will be available in Malaysia soon across all the authorised Nokia retailers from 25 January 2019. If you're familiar with how Nokia naming its phones, the 3.1 Plus is a definitely an entry-level device and the price is really affordable - it's only RM699 and those who purchase it on a first-come-first-serve basis will have a free phone case, tempered glass screen protector and a 5200mAh powerbank.

As an entry-level device, the Nokia 3.1 Plus doesn't offer that much of a performance factor but it's enough to get by on a daily social basis, so don't even think of getting it for intense graphics games. Running on Android Oreo out of the box, it features a MediaTek Helio P22, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB internal storage (with expandable memory up to 400GB). Its screen panel is quite huge, though, measuring at 6-inch with HD+ resolution and the camera setup is the standard 13MP + 5MP dual rear camera, while the front uses an 8MP camera. The battery is not bad as well, packing at 3500mAh which is said to last two days effortlessly.

On top of that, the phone will also receive three years of monthly security patches and two years of OS updates, thanks to the Android One programme. Also, it has Google Assistant, Google Photos, Google Lens. picture-in-picture and others.
