Caviar, a Russian-Italian company specialising in creating bespoke luxury iPhones that are hand-assembled from the most exclusive materials, such as gold, titanium, carbon fibre, jumped on the hype train with an exclusive edition of the Nokia 3310 (2017).
They opened up pre-orders for 2 very extraordinary concepts of the refreshed Nokia 3310. Each priced at RUB99,000 (about RM7272), that sure is a high price to pay for a device that costs only €49 (about RM232) in its base configuration. The model that caught up with the most attention has got to be the “Supremo Putin” edition, inspired by current Russian President, Vladimir Putin. The device features a gold-plated portrait of the Russian president on the back, along with a gold seal with a quote from Russia’s national anthem. Going along with the theme, there is also a gold-plated front button with an image of the Russian coat of arms. The entire exterior is allegedly crafted out of Carbon Fibre too.
The “Titano” edition, while looking less striking compared to the “Supremo Putin” edition, has what is allegedly an exterior crafted out of bulletproof Titanium, and is decorated with engraved patterns inspired by “Damascus Steel”. Obviously, with such a premium material being used, this model is practically, drop-proof.
Both Caviar editions of the Nokia 3310 will ship in a beautiful wooden case lined with black velvet. Fancy getting such an exquisite Nokia 3310? They’ll be made available for sale in Russia in the second quarter of 2017.
