Nokia 5.4 could launch soon, expected to feature punch-hole camera

While it may not have the star power of its glory days, some Nokia smartphones aren't all that bad. However, we didn't think it would launch new ones these soon. The company launched its lower mid-range Nokia 5.3 earlier this year, but sources claim that the Nokia 5.4 is already on the way.

According to NokiaPowerUser, the launch of the Nokia 5.4 could be launched with the Nokia 7.3 5G by the end of this year. It's expected to feature a more powerful chipset, 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of internal storage, as well as a sizable 6.4-inch display. We're not too sure what this chipset is, but we think it'll at least be a Snapdragon 720 or 730 chipset.

Besides that, it seems like there will be a notable difference in front camera design this time. Specifically, the Nokia 5.4's front camera will be under a punch-hole. For comparison, the Nokia 5.3 had its front camera under a tear-drop notch instead. We don't have details on other features, but the Nokia 5.3 retailed for RM799 when it launched, so it should be roughly in that same range.

Honestly, it's hard for Nokia to compete in the competitive and saturated smartphone market. But what do you think, would there be a reason for you to consider getting one? Let us know what it is in the comments and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates on Nokia devices.
