So it was only recently that the Nokia 6.1 Plus and 5.1 Plus were revealed in Malaysia, but HMD Global and Nokia are doing yet another smartphone release again elsewhere, this time focusing on the India market with the rumoured Nokia 7.1 and 7.1 Plus (or X7).
Scheduled for 11 October 2018, the 7.1 Plus is said not to be that different from the 5.1 Plus and 6.1 Plus as it will feature a notch on its bigger 6-inch screen panel with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Inside the internals, it will feature a new mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor (in 12nm), 6GB of RAM and 128GB ROM.
As for the Nokia 7.1, it's said that the display will also be 6-inch but without any notch. The processor is also the same but with 4GB of RAM and 64GB ROM. The 7.1 series is using Android One and we expect that it will run on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box.
