Today, HMD Global is proud to announce that the Nokia 8.1 smartphone is the latest smartphone lineup to kick off 2019. The mid-range device will be available in Blue and Silver starting from 18 January 2019 onwards, at a recommended retail price of RM1699.
So what do we know about the mid-range device? Well, starting with the camera - it has a dual rear camera setup with a 12MP main camera with ZEISS Optics and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) technology, while the secondary camera is using a 13MP sensor. The 20MP front camera is pretty self-explanatory, as it focuses on taking a selfie and the Bothie feature is back as well with AI-powered 3D personas, masks and fun filters in your photos and videos.
Users would be glad to know that the 6.18-inch Full HD+ smartphone uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage (expandable memory up to 400GB), 3500mAh battery (with fast charging) and runs on Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. It appears to support aptX audio and AR core too.
