Despite being leaked and unofficially announced a day early, the Nokia Lumia 1520 phablet finally gets officially announced at the recent Nokia World event this time with a surprise little brother in the form of the Nokia Lumia 1320. Breaking ground into phablet territory, the Lumia 1520 offers a 6-inch full HD display while the Nokia Lumia 1320 offers a 6-inch 720p display. Obviously the Lumia 1520 is the more premium device and it offers premium features like built-in Qi wireless charging along with image refocusing through oversampling just like the Lumia 1020. The Lumia 1320 is clearly the Lumia phablet for the masses and as such has lower-end tech specs and features. The full official tech specs and features of the Lumia 1520 and Lumia 1320 include:

The Lumia phablets still maintain the standard colourful polycarbonate backside design with no surprises here. However, recent announcements by Nokia have it that while the 20MP camera sensor on the Lumia 1520 isn't as high as the 41MP camera sensor on the Lumia 1020, it will be able to capture images in RAW format. Both phablets are also designed for work, as they come with built-in Microsoft Office, Office Exchange, Office 365 and Lync. They also come in black, red, yellow and white. The extra features and a dedicated camera shutter button on the Lumia 1520 make it a better choice for the videographer and photographer but both phablets give you more options when it comes to picking up a larger smartphone. No specific Malaysia release dates just yet though but stay tuned and we'll keep you posted.
