Recently Nokia had teased something was going to be revealed on Wednesday (24 April 2013) and as many people expected it turned out to be a new addition to the Nokia Asha line, the Nokia Asha 210. While it may be a little less than a new Lumia with a QWERTY keyboard, at least the QWERTY keyboard rumour was confirmed as the Nokia Asha 210 sports a nice little QWERTY keyboard of its own. What sets it apart from the other QWERTY equipped smartphones is that it actually has a dedicated WhatsApp button. While we're not sure if this means you'll get WhatsApp access for Free forever, it is definitely one feature that sets the phone apart.

Other tech specs and features for the Nokia Asha 210 include:

  • 2.4-inch display
  • 2MP camera (with voice assisted self portrait mode)
  • Supports Nokia Slam, Wifi, EDGE
  • Single / Dual SIM

While we didn't get the exact battery tech specs, Nokia claims that the Nokia Asha 210 should last on standby for up to 46 days. At the time of writing the Nokia Asha 210 was priced at RM220 and it should be available by Q2 of 2013.
