Nokia may be developing a new phone with a penta-lens camera module and a QHD+ 120Hz display

Back in 2019, Nokia unveiled a penta-lens camera smartphone called the Nokia 9 Pureview. At that time, it was certainly an interesting phone because it was the world's first phone to have it but unfortunately, it didn't get to see the end of the light. This is because it scored below than average scores on DxOMark.

While we don't think we will be seeing a new successor anytime this year (it's been two years), there are new reports that the Nokia 8.3 5G could feature the same penta-lens camera module with a 108MP sensor. Rumours also have it that the device may sport a 6.5-inch PureDisplay in Quad HD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Besides the big camera module and display, a 6000mAh battery pack could also make its way with a 22.5W fast charging technology. We think it's quite possible for ZEISS optics and OZO Audio technology to be on board as they have been part of the Nokia series for a long time. Finally, it could be renamed as the Nokia X50 instead of 8.4 5G.

It's still too early to say anything so do take this news with a pinch of salt. So in the mean time, we will just have to wait and see what Nokia and HMD Global are planning to do. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
