As most Nokia fans know, something is coming real soon tomorrow on 21 August 2018 and HMD Global will be revealing a new Nokia smartphone. It's quite possible that the Nokia 9 will make its debut. But on the other hand, it could be the Nokia X6 as well according to the comments.
What comments, you asked? Well, the comments are from the Nokia Mobile India Instagram account. That said, HMD Global is actually holding the launch event in India and to add on the hype, they also released a bunch of model shots taken by the mysterious Nokia smartphone. Promptly called the "Lakme Fashion Week" which by the way, is one of India's biggest fashion show, the company is also calling the device the "the most awaited phone."
As much as we wish that "the most awaited phone" will be the Nokia 9, it probably won't be it because of two factors - it will be launched in India where flagship phones usually don't prosper and a lot of Indian customers have been asking for the Nokia X6 since its China's release. To recap the tech-specs, it has 4GB and 6GB of RAM, 32GB and 64GB storage models, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset, a 5.8-inch FHD+ display, a 16MP + 5MP dual rear camera, 16MP front-facing camera, 3060mAh battery pack and should run on the latest Android Oreo OS.
